Hello, quick update. I'm just here to talk about something that is currently happening to me. I don't know how everything will pan out but I'm hoping for the best. Murdoch (one of my guinea pigs) is very ill. We went to the vets today and they prescribed us some antibiotics. We're also having to syringe feed her because she's having some difficulty biting. Hopefully she'll pull through but you never know with rodents.
One positive I can give you is that the PDSA Pet Hospital in Cardiff is very much guinea pig friendly. So if you're reading this and you happen to live in that area, small rodents should be fine there. I know how difficult it can be to find a vet that does anything other than dogs and cats.
The vet said that she is very tame and well-behaved! I'm very proud of her for being so brave.
She's eaten more today than she has in a while. But she's absolutely exhausted from the long day at the vet. She's currently sleeping in the cage. I got the other two out on the living room floor so that she can have some peace and quiet.
